Week 6 (Feb. 5 – 11)

6.2: Daddy-Daughter Date
Through work, Jonathan was offered two tickets to the NHL Stars Hockey game (with crazy good seats that were right behind the visitor’s bench). Since Mallory is taking ice skating lessons (and finally liking it) and also liked going to the last Stars game, Jonathan figured she’d like going with him. He was right. They had a great time and Mallory really enjoyed spending some one-on-one time with her favorite person.

[No pic for the day, but will use the ticket stub and a player trading card in the album]

6.3: 2 Months Down, 10 to Go
Lucia is making progress on getting last year’s Project 365 photos into an album. All of January’s and February’s pages are done, March is near complete, and about half of the remaining pictures have been printed. What’s left to do? The rest of the pictures need to be edited and have the day of the year number graphic added to them. The journaling cards need to be printed, trimmed and embellished before being added to the album.

More details about my Project 365 album here.

52 Weeks :: Week 6

6.3: Che-pup
This girl follows in both of her parents’ childhood footsteps and loves her chep-up (ketchup). She’d eat it by the spoonful for every meal if we let her. She often requests it to go with things that do not sound appealing at all (like with apples or waffles).

6.4: Grumpy Girl
When Chelsea wakes up from her naps, about half the time she is in a grumpy mood. Today’s mood = grumpy. She was throwing a fit on the changing table so Mallory decided to climb up and try to make her feel better by acting silly. It worked.

6.4: Rock-a-Baby
We finally started pulling out baby gear and clothes today to get ready for the new baby girl. We reassembled and set up the bassinet, swing and bouncy seat. The girls used screw drivers to “help” and liked being a part of the getting-ready-for-baby process. Chelsea kept singing, “rock-a-baby” (her version of the lullaby “rock-a-bye baby”) while she worked on the swing.

6.6: Dropped?
Just two weeks to go until to the due date… and it looks like the baby/belly has dropped some. At Lucia’s 38 week appointment this week, the doctor said everything looks great and Lucia is already 1 centimeter dilated.

38 Week Belly [52 Weeks :: Week 6]

6.6: View from Above
This is what Lucia sees when she looks down: a big belly, a belly button that sticks out and some toes.

And our snow pictures will be a post unto themselves; too many to pick just one for the day!
